Responsible Gaming
at tbije
Your wellbeing always comes first. tbije provides a range of tools — deposit limits, session time-outs, self-exclusion, and direct support access — so that every player on our platform can enjoy gaming safely. This page is for adults aged 18 and above only.
Our Player Protection Tools
tbije has built a comprehensive suite of responsible gaming features directly into the platform. Every registered player in Bangladesh can access these tools free of charge at any time through their account settings or by contacting our support team.
Set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit caps on your tbije account. Once a limit is active, it cannot be increased for a mandatory 24-hour cooling-off period. Reductions take effect immediately. All amounts are displayed in BDT (৳).
Activate a temporary break of 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. During a time-out, your account remains open and your balance is preserved — but you cannot place bets, play games, or make deposits until the period expires.
Request a formal self-exclusion of 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, or permanently. Self-exclusion is irreversible for its chosen duration and blocks all access to gaming, deposits, and marketing communications from tbije.
Enable on-screen session reminders that notify you of how long you have been playing and how much you have wagered. These alerts appear at intervals you choose — every 30, 60, or 90 minutes — keeping you informed during active sessions.
tbije enforces a strict 18+ policy. Every new account must pass age verification before any real-money activity is permitted. We use national identity documents to confirm age and identity for all Bangladeshi players.
If you are concerned about your gaming behaviour, our support team is available around the clock via WhatsApp and email. We can activate limits and exclusions on your behalf immediately, without requiring you to log in.
Our Commitment to Safe Play
tbije is committed to providing a safe, fair, and enjoyable gaming environment for every player in Bangladesh. We believe that entertainment should never come at the expense of a player's financial stability, mental health, or personal relationships. Responsible gaming is not an afterthought at tbije — it is a core part of how we build and operate our platform.
We recognise that the vast majority of our players enjoy cricket betting, live casino, and slot games without any negative consequences. However, we also know that for a small number of players, gambling can become problematic. Our responsibility is to provide the tools, information, and support necessary to intervene early and effectively whenever that risk arises.
Our responsible gaming programme is built on four pillars: prevention (age verification and account controls), awareness (player education and reality checks), intervention (deposit limits and time-outs), and protection (self-exclusion and external support referrals). These pillars work together to ensure that every tbije player — whether in Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet, or anywhere else in Bangladesh — can access the help they need, when they need it.
We regularly review and update our responsible gaming policies to reflect best practices in player protection. If you have suggestions for how tbije can better support safer play, please contact us at [email protected].
Age Restriction & Verification
tbije operates exclusively for adults. You must be 18 years of age or older to register an account, make a deposit, or participate in any real-money gaming activity on our platform. This rule is absolute — there are no exceptions.
At the point of registration, all users are required to confirm that they are 18 or older. Following registration, tbije's compliance team may request identity verification documents, including a national identity card (NID), passport, or other government-issued photo ID. Accounts that cannot be verified as belonging to an adult will be suspended pending resolution, and any funds held will be returned via the original payment method.
We strongly encourage parents and guardians to use parental control software to prevent minors from accessing online gambling platforms. If you believe that a minor has accessed tbije using your account or payment details, please contact our support team immediately. We will investigate and take appropriate action, including account closure and full refund of any deposits made by the minor.
- Age verification is mandatory before the first withdrawal is processed on any tbije account.
- KYC documents must match the name and date of birth provided at registration.
- Falsifying age or identity information is a breach of our Terms & Conditions and may result in permanent account closure and forfeiture of any balance.
Deposit & Spending Limits
tbije allows every account holder to set voluntary deposit limits that cap how much money they can add to their account over a given period. Limits can be configured on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis and are applied across all payment methods, including bKash, Nagad, Rocket, and Upay.
The following rules govern how deposit limits work on the tbije platform:
- Immediate reduction: If you reduce an existing deposit limit, the new lower limit takes effect immediately. You cannot deposit more than the new limit for the remainder of the current period.
- Mandatory cooling-off for increases: If you request an increase to an existing deposit limit, the increase does not take effect for a mandatory 24-hour cooling-off period. This delay is designed to prevent impulsive decisions made during a gaming session.
- Cannot be overridden: Once a limit is set and active, it cannot be bypassed by contacting support or creating a new account. Attempting to circumvent your own deposit limits by opening multiple accounts is a breach of our Terms & Conditions.
- No minimum: There is no minimum deposit limit — you can set your limit as low as ৳500 per day if that suits your budget.
To set or modify a deposit limit, navigate to the Responsible Gaming section of your tbije account settings. You can also contact our support team via WhatsApp at +880 1700 000000 and a team member will apply the limit on your behalf.
Session Time-Out & Cool-Off
A session time-out (also called a "cool-off period") is a short-term break from gambling that you can activate at any time. It is distinct from self-exclusion in that it is temporary — your account remains open and your balance is preserved, but all gaming and deposit activity is blocked until the period ends.
A one-day pause. Useful if you feel you have been playing too long in a single session or want to reassess your balance.
Short-TermA full week away from the platform. A good option if you notice gambling is eating into other activities or responsibilities.
Medium-TermA month-long pause. Recommended if gambling has caused financial strain or stress. Use this time to speak with a support organisation.
ExtendedFor longer-term protection of 6 months or more. See the dedicated self-exclusion section below for full details.
Permanent OptionDuring any active time-out period, tbije will also suspend all marketing communications to your registered email address and phone number. You will not receive bonus offers, promotional SMS messages, or match-alert notifications while a time-out is in place.
Time-outs cannot be reversed or cancelled early. If you request a 7-day break, you will not be able to resume play until all 7 days have elapsed, regardless of the reason. This is a deliberate design choice to protect players from impulsive decisions.
Self-Exclusion Programme
Self-exclusion is tbije's most powerful player-protection tool. When you self-exclude, your account is fully suspended for the chosen duration — you cannot log in, deposit, place bets, or receive any marketing from tbije. Self-exclusion is free of charge and takes effect within 24 hours of your request being confirmed.
The following self-exclusion durations are available on tbije:
- 6 months — Suitable for players who recognise a developing problem and want a meaningful break.
- 1 year — Recommended for players who have experienced financial difficulties related to gambling.
- 3 years — For players who have sought or are seeking professional help for problem gambling.
- Permanent (indefinite) — A lifelong exclusion with no end date. This option cannot be reversed under any circumstances.
How to request self-exclusion from tbije:
-
1Contact Support
Email [email protected] with the subject line "Self-Exclusion Request" or message our WhatsApp support at +880 1700 000000. You do not need to be logged in to request self-exclusion.
-
2Confirm Your Identity
Provide your registered email address and username so our team can locate your account. Identity verification may be required for permanent exclusion requests.
-
3Choose Your Duration
Specify the duration you require: 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, or permanent. Our team will confirm the chosen period and the exact date on which your exclusion will end (where applicable).
-
4Exclusion Activated
Self-exclusion is applied within 24 hours of your confirmed request. You will receive a written confirmation. Any pending withdrawals will be processed via your original payment method (bKash, Nagad, Rocket, or bank transfer) before the exclusion takes full effect.
Important: Self-exclusion on tbije applies only to the tbije platform. If you are concerned about gambling across multiple platforms, we strongly encourage you to seek self-exclusion from all gambling operators you use and to contact a professional support organisation — see the "Getting Help" section below.
Recognising Problem Gambling
Problem gambling can develop gradually and is not always easy to recognise, especially in the early stages. tbije encourages every player to be honest with themselves about their gaming habits. The following signs may indicate that gambling has moved beyond entertainment and is becoming a problem:
- Gambling with money set aside for rent, food, or bills
- Borrowing money or selling possessions to fund gambling
- Chasing losses by placing larger bets after a losing streak
- Hiding gambling transactions from family members
- Spending more time gambling than intended
- Feeling restless or irritable when not gambling
- Neglecting work, studies, or family responsibilities
- Repeatedly trying to cut back but being unable to do so
- Using gambling as a way to escape stress, anxiety, or depression
- Feeling guilt or shame after a gambling session
- Mood swings linked to wins and losses
- Becoming secretive or defensive about gambling habits
- Withdrawing from friends and family to spend more time gambling
- Conflicts with loved ones over money or time spent gambling
- Missing social occasions, Eid gatherings, or family events due to gambling
- Lying to others about the extent of gambling activity
Recognising one or more of these signs does not mean you have a severe gambling problem — but it is a signal worth taking seriously. The earlier you act, the easier it is to regain control. tbije's tools are available immediately, and our support team will never judge you for reaching out.
Self-Assessment Checklist
Answer the following questions honestly. If you answer "Yes" to three or more of them, we strongly encourage you to use one of tbije's player-protection tools and consider reaching out to a professional support organisation.
This is one of the earliest signs of loss of control. Most recreational players stop well within their intended budget.
Chasing losses is a key behaviour associated with problem gambling and is rarely successful in the long run.
Financial strain caused by gambling is a serious indicator that professional help may be needed.
Emotional dependence on gambling — feeling "off" without it — is a recognised sign of problem gambling behaviour.
Secrecy around gambling is a red flag. Healthy recreational gamblers typically have no need to conceal their activity.
When gambling begins to crowd out other important areas of life, it has moved beyond entertainment and needs to be addressed.
If your answers concern you, please do not wait. Contact the tbije support team directly or reach out to a professional counselling service. You are not alone, and help is available right now.
Getting Help & Support
tbije's in-platform tools are an important first line of defence, but they are not a substitute for professional help when gambling has become a serious problem. If you or someone you know is struggling, we encourage you to reach out to a qualified counsellor or support organisation as soon as possible.
When contacting tbije directly about a gambling problem, our dedicated responsible gaming team — available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — can take the following actions on your behalf immediately, without requiring you to log in:
- Apply a deposit limit or spending restriction to your account
- Activate a session time-out (24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days)
- Initiate a formal self-exclusion request for any available duration
- Provide written confirmation of any protective measure applied
- Remove your account from all marketing and promotional communications
Write to our responsible gaming team any time of day. We aim to respond to all responsible gaming requests within 2 hours.
Message our team directly on WhatsApp for immediate assistance with limits, time-outs, or self-exclusion requests.
For serious problem gambling concerns, we recommend speaking with a licensed mental health professional or counsellor based in Bangladesh.
A note on confidentiality: All responsible gaming requests and communications are handled with complete discretion. Your request to set limits or self-exclude will never be shared with third parties and will not affect the processing of any legitimate withdrawals owed to you.
tbije is committed to continuous improvement of our responsible gaming programme. We welcome feedback from players, advocacy groups, and health professionals on how we can do better. Gambling is entertainment — and at tbije, we intend to keep it that way for every player across Bangladesh, from Dhaka to Cox's Bazar.
Play Smart. Play Safe. Play at tbije.
Responsible gaming starts with the right tools and the right mindset. Explore our games at a pace that suits you — and remember, our support team is always just a message away if you need us.
